Faith and Co: "Business on Purpose" Online Course

Seattle Pacific University

How do you live out your faith in the world of work?

To explore this question, join us for “Faith & Co: Business on Purpose,” an instructor-led online course. The course start date is October 3, 2021.

“Business on Purpose” is an education and formation experience with the goal of inspiring and equipping businesspeople to approach their work as service to God and the common good.

The course is taught by an award-winning professor and delivered in an online format. It incorporates a series of evocative short films shot in four countries, featuring stories of Christians living out their calling in a wide variety of industries and positions. These films make up the foundation of our curriculum.

Over eight weeks, we will deeply explore the themes, concepts, and questions raised by the films through exercises, readings, and interviews with business and thought leaders, including Bill Pollard, Jeff Van Duzer, Denise Daniels, and Steve Garber.

The course is free, although it can also be taken for SPU credit for a small fee. Students taking the course for credit will earn three credits, which can be applied to a Faith & Co. certificate and to an SPU business graduate degree program.
